Missoula, Montana. 30 years old. Polson, Montana. Property Appraiser with the Property Assessment Division of the Montana Department of Revenue. HS diploma from Polson High School and my BA in history from the University of Montana. My work as a state appraiser gives me firsthand insight into how policy impacts taxpayers and our local communities. I regularly help property owners navigate complex systems, reinforcing my commitment to transparency and fairness. I also grew up in a single-mother household which taught me responsibility and resilience. In the state legislature I will bring a practical, community-focused approach to serving my fellow Montanans.
I expect in-depth discussion on property taxes and the last legislature’s approach. While some steps were in the right direction, the issue should have been addressed earlier in the session. This will be a top priority for me. I also anticipate debate over judicial elections. I strongly support keeping them non-partisan. Our courts must remain fair and grounded in law, not political affiliation. If we allow politics to enter the courtroom, public trust erodes and the justice system risks becoming another pay-to-play structure. Protecting the integrity of our justice system is essential to ensuring Montanans remain secure and treated fairly.
I will pursue practical, Montana-focused policies that lower costs and increase transparency. First I support expanding access to affordable healthcare by encouraging competition, increasing price transparency, and protecting rural providers so that families aren’t forced to travel for care. Second, I will advocate for policies that ease the burden on working families, especially through fair and accountable property taxes as well as responsible budgeting. Finally, I believe strong community partnerships between state, local, and Tribal leaders are key to building sustainable economic solutions. When we work together, we can create a more stable, affordable future for all Montanans.
I believe Montana’s elections should remain secure, transparent, and accessible to every eligible voter. That means maintaining accurate voter rolls, strong signature verification, and supporting our local election officials. We should protect and expand access through same day voter registration, early voting, vote-by-mail and clear, consistent processes so rural and working Montanans can fully participate. To reduce the role of money, I support stronger disclosure requirements, limits on undue influence, and reforms that amplify the voices of everyday Montanans over wealthy donors and outside spending,
