I have been a licensed attorney in the State of New Mexico for 14 years. I have been practicing in estate planning and probate since 2017 in my work as an attorney. I have led numerous clients through the probate process in my work as an attorney.
Judge Pestak has been a wonderful, caring and committed Probate Judge whose shoes will be impossible to fill, but I hope to emulate his care and commitment to the people he serves.
The Probate Court is a part time position, and I plan to continue my law practice while serving if elected. However, I plan to be available by phone and to continue making available the forms and resources that Judge Pestak has compiled. I plan to work through the Clerk's office to serve the public in an efficient manner.
I care deeply for our community as a whole, as well as the individual members that make up that community. I recognize that the individuals going through the probate process are grieving while trying to handle important financial and family matters and I have a great deal of compassion and care for the people navigating that process. I believe I am specially qualified for this particular position due to my dedication to this area of the law since 2017. I hope to serve the community in this role and appreciate this opportunity and the voters’ consideration of me for Sierra County Probate Judge.
