For over two decades, I have served thousands of New Mexican families. Supporting individuals during some of the most difficult and emotional times in their lives. I have worked closely with residents of Bernalillo Co. for over 18 years specializing in interventions, and most importantly reunification. I understand that Probate Court plays a vital role in helping families manage the legal process after the loss of a loved one. My profession has been built on public service, advocacy,& integrity.
Change is necessary when a current or previous system is no longer effective. I would assess and analyze what processes are no longer working or beneficial. You don’t have to be an attorney to recognize when change needs to be implemented. It takes common sense and actual experience working with the public. Knowing and understanding that Bernalillo County is highly diverse in cultures. Most importantly, firsthand knowledge of what families need, to make any processes more efficient.
I will assist in educating the public on probate court will involve providing clear, accessible information through community outreach, digital resources, and simplified, step-by-step guides. Other helpful methods would be hosting workshops, distributing informative pamphlets, creating online video tutorials, and offering self-help materials and center to help individuals navigate and simplify the process of working through what seem to be a difficult process and working through probate court.
I understand that Probate Court plays a vital role in helping families manage the legal process after the loss of a loved one. Ensuring assets through estate plans that include wills, trusts and powers of attorney are distributed properly with fairness. Specifically providing clarity during times of uncertainty. As a proud born and raised on the west side of Albuquerque. I am deeply connected to the community I serve. I understand the importance of culture and trust in the legal process.
