Worked 36 years for Union Pacific Railroad as a yardmaster, coordinating train and crew movement. Served three successive two-year terms on Richland Hills City Council. Also served on Charter Review, Planning and Zoning, Infrastructure, Community Development, Building Board of Appeals, and currently serves on the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
I am running for City Council because I care deeply about Richland Hills, which has been home to me for 55 years. I previously served three two-year terms on the City Council and worked on projects that improved public safety, infrastructure, economic development, and quality of life. I will bring experience, transparency, accountability, and a commitment to listening to citizens and serving with professionalism.
I would ensure public input and transparency by posting clear meeting agendas and supporting materials in advance, allowing citizens adequate time to review issues, and making public comment meaningful and respectful. I support open communication, straightforward explanations of council actions, and an open-door approach so residents feel informed, heard, and included in city decisions.

The most critical issues facing Richland Hills are strengthening the sales tax base and improving infrastructure. We need to attract quality businesses that fit our community and help reduce the tax burden on homeowners. At the same time, we must continue repairing and replacing streets, drainage, water, and sewer systems. I would support careful planning, smart development, and responsible budgeting to keep the city strong and prepared for the future.
