BA UT- Dallas, Senior Director of Corporate Systems and Executive Program Manager with a proven record leading multi-million-dollar initiatives, including new office construction, relocations, national rollouts, and facilities management. Extensive experience in process re-engineering for domestic and international organizations, driving productivity and profitability.
I am running because Bedford is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. I have called Bedford home for 42 years. I love this community and the friends who make it special. Bedford has given so much to my family, and I want to give back by helping shape its next chapter.
As an experienced executive and program manager, I bring the skills needed to evaluate complex organizations, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategic plans that drive efficiency and productivity.
Bedford already does a great job of making City Council meeting agendas available in advance, with detailed information for the public to review. Residents who wish to provide input are given the opportunity to do so, and their voices are heard.
To further improve transparency for “We the People,” I will work with the Communications Department to ensure that all details associated with City Council decisions are easily accessible and available for public viewing.
I will support policies that protect a person's Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is doing their job to execute the laws of our country and should receive full support from every American and every other agency.
My first priority will always be the safety of our residence. Bedford’s Police and Fire Departments are the best in the area, and I will ensure they have the support, training, resources, and technology they need to continue delivering outstanding protection to our residents. As our society changes, I will stay focused on equipping our first responders to stay ahead of new challenges—so our schools and neighborhoods remain safe at all times.

Occupation
small business owner
I hold a Master's Degree in Special Education from Texas Tech University. I’m a small business owner and active volunteer with the PTA, Education Foundation, Hurst-Euless-Bedford Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, and my HOA. Bedford University and the Citizen’s Police Academy prepared me to serve our city effectively.
I’m running for city council because I care deeply about our community and want to continue serving the city that my family calls home. As a small business owner, community volunteer, and longtime resident, I’ve worked with many local organizations and understand the needs of our residents. My experience in community leadership and working with people across our city has prepared me to listen, collaborate, and make thoughtful decisions for Bedford’s future.
Access and communication are key to meaningful public input. City government should make it easy for residents to engage by providing clear information and opportunities to be heard. I believe in being accessible and present in the community, listening to residents where they live, work, and gather. Being boots on the ground allows concerns and ideas to be heard before they ever reach the council chamber, ensuring decisions reflect the real needs of the community.
I support policies that ensure all residents are treated fairly and have equal access to city services. Regardless of federal funding requirements or changes in language around DEI, our responsibility is to follow the law and protect residents from discrimination. Clear policies, consistent training, and transparent procedures help ensure every resident is treated with respect and that city services remain accessible to everyone in our community.
Currently, Bedford has no agreements under the 287(g) program, and I support maintaining that approach. Immigration enforcement is primarily a federal responsibility. Our local police should remain focused on community safety, crime prevention, and building trust with residents. Maintaining that trust ensures people feel safe reporting crimes and working with law enforcement when needed. Public safety is strongest when the community and police work together.
The most critical issues facing our city are maintaining strong public safety, supporting responsible economic growth, and protecting the quality of life residents expect. I will support our police and fire departments, encourage smart development that strengthens our local economy, and ensure infrastructure like streets and public services keep pace with growth. By staying engaged and listening to residents, we can make thoughtful decisions that keep our community safe and thriving.
