NM House D69 is a large 3.4-million-acre diverse district with multi-jurisdictions ranging from state, tribal and federal. Our land is a combination of rural, frontier, and some urban. For years this district has not had a leader who understands the diversity and legal complexity. For even longer, the smaller communities' needs have been ignored. I am from here, grew up here, I am raising my family here, and we are committed to improving the standard of living, health care, services, and programming for all.
1. Increasing the number of quality-of-life projects in my district (parks, rec centers, trails, pools, fields, etc.). 2. Improving the roads in our rural communities that are in dire need of repair. 3. Supporting law enforcement needs and creating opportunities for enhanced public safety and response times to emergencies. 4. Promoting healthier rural communities by securing funding to expand access to preventative care, mental health services, substance abuse treatment, domestic violence resources, and lower the rates of chronic diseases like heart disease and diabetes.
By learning and listening to experts and understanding the options and what would work best for New Mexicans.
