Elderly Care: Expand affordable healthcare, in-home support, and preventive services for seniors.
• Child Safety: Ensure safe environments, quality healthcare, and strong protection systems for all children.
• Women’s Health: Improve maternal care, support expecting mothers, and protect women and the unborn.
• Mental Health: Increase access to care, integrate services, and promote awareness and prevention.
Reduce demand (conservation)
• Stretch supply (reuse, new sources)
• Protect reserves (groundwater management)
• Adapt systems (policy + climate resilience)
Allocate funds based on measurable results (e.g., improved road safety, higher graduation rates, reduced water loss).
Right now, funding is often tied to proposals or political priorities rather than actual results. Outcome-based funding ensures money goes to projects that prove they work, not just those that sound good on paper.
States can act as a frontline defense for citizens by:
• Requiring transparency about how platforms use data and algorithms
• Protecting users (especially minors) from harmful content or addictive design
• Enforcing rules against scams, deepfakes, and misinformation

I am running for office because the crises of the 21st-century climate change, systemic inequality, and a fractured healthcare system cannot be solved with 20th-century thinking. We are standing at a crossroads where the old maps no longer work. Taking on the challenges of this new era requires leadership that is determined to set new paths forward, moving beyond incremental changes toward a future where our environment and our health are treated as one.
I have worked to implement policies that will diversify our extraction industry-dependent economy to a renewable, clean energy economy and hold the line to protect our natural resources.
Addressing the 21st century requires a Water Resilience Strategy that will: Modernized Science & Enforcement: fully fund the mapping of our aquifers and empower the State Engineer to enforce water use. We cannot manage or protect what we do not measure.
A "Strategic Water Reserve": advocate for aggressive funding to purchase and lease water rights specifically to keep our rivers flowing and protect our riparian ecosystems.
Infrastructure for Reuse: treating brackish water for industrial use; ensuring that any recycled water meets the highest safety standards before it enters our environment.
I will ensure that our water policy protects our Acequias, respects Tribal sovereignty, and secures a water future for our generations to come.
Candidate has not yet responded.
State government must move to legislate enforceable digital integrity. I believe New Mexico could lead the nation in ensuring that technology serves our people by providing legal protections, transparency, and accountability.
The state must protect our most vulnerable. I support the recent efforts by our Attorney General to hold tech giants accountable. When companies knowingly design addictive features or fail to protect minors from exploitation, the state must step in with civil liability and significant penalties.
As AI technology has grown, I have sponsored regulation bills that would create penalties to preditory unauthorized use of personal proprietary information. I will reintroduce such legislation.
