My passion for serving others is the reason I am running for office. As a public servant, I served with the Department of Veteran Services where I was the policy director for 16 years. I understand what it takes to pursue good policy for all New Mexicans,
Public Safety Economic Growth Health, both physical and mental
We as a state must look at the ability to renew brackish water. We must look to new technologies that are working for other states and countries.
1. What are going to be the infrastructure needs, roads, utilities, and water needs. 2. Benefit to the community.
We MUST put aside petty partisan politics and work together to grow our own physicians. This means making sure New Mexicans have a pathway to the UNM Medical School and to the residencies offered in this state. We must make sure that we are working to increase the number of general practice physicians in our state.

With a B.A. from the University of Rhode Island, I've built a career across corp. sales, the wedding industry, Medicare insurance, entertainment, and public service.

As a licensed Medicare agent, I spoke with ~1,000 retirees about real struggles—medication costs, poor planning, loneliness. I later worked as an on-set guardian for children. I served as Legislative Aide during the 57th NM House session, helping legislators work effectively and listening to constituents. Between gigs, I completed 2,300+ rideshare rides, meeting people from every walk of life. A three-term union leader, I've advocated for film professionals at the Roundhouse.

I've learned that everyone has a story, and understanding them is how we support each other.
My top priorities for HD23: public safety, affordability, and healthcare for every New Mexican.

On public safety, I'll invest in technology, infrastructure, and courthouse capacity, protect officer recruitment and retention, and expand behavioral health co-responder programs and juvenile diversion.

Affordability means living-wage jobs, accessible capital and simpler licensing for small businesses, and connecting families to SNAP, LIHEAP, and Medicaid benefits.

On healthcare, the HCAF has helped many—but not the self-employed, rideshare drivers, or freelancers earning above 400% of poverty who can't absorb a 35% premium hike. That gap is fixable. I'll push to expand the fund's income threshold and build purchasing cooperatives.
New Mexico faces a severe water crisis—overuse exceeding natural replenishment. I'll work with water experts to build an effective strategy rooted in education, conservation, underground storage, wastewater reuse, infrastructure repair, and smart regulation across consumer and agricultural sectors.

NM's rapid growth makes local impact impossible to ignore. We must protect our water supply as housing and development expand. New Mexico should fully fund the 50-Year Water Action Plan, expand the Strategic Water Supply program, and protect aquifer monitoring as they're the foundation of every home, school, and business here. And the NM transportation bond package must reach every corner of the state equitably.
When approving large projects like Project Ranger and Project Jupiter, we must weigh effects on jobs, infrastructure, utility costs, and water sustainability—lessons learned from years of watching Intel's impact on our region. I'll push for Environmental Impact Statements on major ED projects, local hiring requirements in all expansion contracts, and protections ensuring development doesn't burden residents with higher utility costs or damaged roads. Project Ranger was approved without sufficient public input. I'll introduce legislation to improve transparency so neighbors have a real voice in decisions that affect them. Above all, water usage must be evaluated with every economic decision, and I'll ensure full funding of those evaluations.
Recruiting and retaining healthcare providers is key to improving access in New Mexico. The 2026 session passed HB99, a major victory. I will fully fund behavioral health and rural care, raise income limits for the Healthcare Affordability Fund, and expand licensing so nurse practitioners and physician assistants can practice independently.

For seniors, I will raise Medicaid and Medicare Supplemental income limits, strengthen SPAP to close Part D gaps, expand Mi Via waivers, boost nursing home rates, and fund caregiver support.

For children, I will expand Medicaid and CHIP eligibility to reach more families.

Access improves when we invest in providers, close gaps, and empower patients. I am committed to this approach.
