I will be 56. I have a Bachelor's degree from Montana State University in Education. I have been a member of the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office for 30 years and have experience in all facets of the job. I have been the Sheriff for the past 5 years. We have built a system focused on Trust, Communication and Teamwork and we will continue to provide exceptional service to keep the peace and enhance the quality of life in Gallatin County
We have successfully recruited and retained our sworn staff and we have made big strides towards doing the same with our Detention and Support staff. This continues to be a challenge because people wan to work here but the cost of living continues to be a challenge.
