Experience
Serving on Schertz City Council Place 4 from 2023–2024 allowed me to put my Texas Municipal League training into action while making decisions that shaped our city’s future. As a U.S. Army veteran, I brought a mission‑focused mindset and a commitment to service that guided every vote. I supported responsible budgeting that increased law enforcement pay, improved road and drainage infrastructure, and ensured taxpayer dollars were used wisely. I also contributed to economic development efforts, including early decisions that helped Schertz Station grow into the thriving area it is today. It would be a pleasure to serve this community again. This is my home, and I’m proud to give back to the city that has given so much to me.

My highest priority is guiding Schertz through responsible, well‑planned growth while protecting the quality of life that makes this city home. As a U.S. Army veteran, I bring energy, discipline, and a results‑driven mindset. I intend to strengthen infrastructure by supporting long‑term planning and data‑based budgeting, ensure public safety by prioritizing residents and essential resources, and drive economic development that creates real value for residents. I believe in transparent decisions, active listening, and working closely with staff and the community. This is my home, and I’m committed to serving it with purpose, urgency, and heart.
I would manage growth by protecting what makes Schertz special while planning boldly for the future. That starts with strengthening infrastructure through long‑term capital planning, data‑driven budgeting, and prioritizing road, drainage, and utility upgrades before problems grow. I’d balance residential and commercial development by supporting projects that fit our community’s character, expand our tax base, and create real value for residents. My approach is hands on such as listening to the community, work closely with staff, and ensure every decision is transparent and forward‑thinking. Schertz deserves growth that feels intentional, balanced, and true to who we are as a city.
I would strengthen Schertz’s emergency preparedness by investing more in our proactive planning, modern equipment, and clear communication systems that keep residents safe during flash floods, fires, and severe storms. My approach includes supporting updated hazard‑mitigation plans, improving drainage and infrastructure in high‑risk areas, and expanding community education so families know how to respond. When we stay ready, we never have to "get" ready. I will work closely with our police, fire, and EMS teams to ensure they have the staffing, training, and resources they need. I’d also increase coordination with regional partners to improve cross‑city communication and create a faster more unified responses during large scale emergencies.
