The main responsibility of a county commissioner is to be the voice of the people and the best steward of the people’s tax dollars.
I would like to help LaVergne have a safer location for a more convenient Convenience Center and help keep our tax rate one of the lowest in the state.
I’m currently working with the LaVergne Mayor and the County Chief of Staff to find a new location for the convenience center.
I have and am currently voting on resolutions that help keep our tax dollars within Rutherford County for services that are being provided in other Counties ie Forensics Center that is being built without a tax increase to our citizens and will benefit the county and one day bring additional revenue.
