I support holding special elections to fill vacancies in the General Assembly only if the remainder of the term is more than two years.
When the Central Committee is tasked with filling a vacancy, my criteria, for selection would first follow Maryland Law and Rules for qualification. Secondly, I would prioritize finding a candidate who possesses significant knowledge and experience in the legislative process.
My primary motivation for seeking this position is my desire to serve the residents of District 6 and represent our community effectively on the Central Committee.
To ensure that appointment decisions serve the best interests of the community, I believe it is essential to select individuals who will actively address the specific concerns of the residents within their district.
