Community Involvement
I have been involved for at least 10 years with the Merill Riverbend Trail. I am a member of the Merrill Chamber of Commerce foundation. Past member of the Haven Board of directors, and Crimestoppers
Organizations
Merrill Riverbend Trail Vice President
I have always been interested in helping our community succeed. I grew up in Merrill until I served in the US Army. I returned to my hometown and joined the Merrill Police Department for 32 years. I felt I could make a difference on the Lincoln County Board. I felt our previous County board was not being responsible with our hard earned tax dollars, and felt I could help.
Making budget is the top issue every year! It isn’t easy with previous years of inflation, and holding the line as much as possible.
Our aging highway facilities in both Merrill and Tomahawk. Both are outdated and past their life expectancy.
I have always had an interest in local government. I have paid attention to issues in the City of Merrill and Lincoln County. I feel I have a common sense approach to issues.
I have received hundreds of phone calls over the past four years. I have talked to every single person in reference to their concerns. A large percentage of calls are from people outside of my district, but I still listen to their issue and answer questions they may have.
