I am wanting to be a part of solutions rather than issues. Creating more value for citizens in County with limited resources is a challenge, and I would like to be a part of that. I follow several simple life rules, one is " if you aren't at the table, you are probably on the menu". Not sure who penned that saying, but my opening statement regarding solutions, fits with this saying.
As with any governmental organization, too many needs not enough resources.

Re defining Lincoln County, with two municipalities, and several smaller villages, working together to create more value so visitors, new residents, and businesses to locate here, building the tax base to another level.
I have many years of business background, along with Forestry knowledge to be able to help fiscally and direct one of Lincoln's biggest resources, the County Forest, creating revenue, adding recreational opportunities, building tax generation.

I have served previously and served on Tomahawk's City Council, giving me the insight on how local and regional governments operate, and how we might change for the betterment.
I try to make myself available to calls and discussions. I also encourage people to attend meetings, committee and Board, to see and get a feel how this part of their government works. Most importantly is VOTING! which is vital to our whole governmental system.

In years past, serving City and County, I have never turned down the opportunity to discuss public's thoughts, many times, it's a mis understanding and after talking through things, folks feel better and are satisfied.
