My position is that I am interested in learning more about the harm to our communities. I am amenable to hold judgement until research/studies are completed where I can honestly communicate with my constituents that having data centers in our communities does not cause harm.
Our economic outlook has been abysmal for some time now. Utilities costs are higher than normal and our community is looking for relief. It is important that law makers in the state and local jurisdictions hold utility companies accountable. I would also look for other programs like the Fuel Fund to share with the community. Further, I would hold town halls with utility companies for informational purposes to give the utilities companies an opportunity to share ways to reduce utility costs.
The availability for public transportation should most assuredly be improved across the state. Many of my constituents rely on public transportation to get work, school and doctor’s appointments. They often take more than one bus to get to there destinations.
1. lowering healthcare costs 2. Making sure the vulnerable do not go hungry even in the face of federal cuts 3. No cuts to the disabilities program
Continue open dialogue and work for equitable healthcare, wages and housing across the board.
