I support the establishment of data centers, if done properly and distributed throughout the state in communities that desire to have them. They should also follow proper environmental parameters as provided through the Department of the Environment.
I believe the cause of escalating utility costs is the need for Maryland to import its energy from other states. I support the creation of our own energy through as many methods as possible. This includes, solar, wind, nuclear, and gas.
Yes, the availability of public transportation should be improved. The Hogan administration canceled a metro rail line in Baltimore, which would have provided access to those across the state to commute to Baltimore using public transportation. There is also the need for public transportation to expand from Prince George's County to Charles and Calvert County to alleviate the number of cars that are on the highways going through Prince George's.
My top three budget priorities are ensuring the Youth Services Bureau receive funding to continue providing mental health support to our families. I also prioritize increase funding of education paraprofessionals, and those that are making less than a living wage. My last priority is to find creative ways we can fund the budget without increasing taxes on our residents and businesses. I will continue to fight for the growth of businesses here in the state, and encouraging others to move here.
I will continue to ensure our immigrant population has access to the same services as our non-immigrants. This includes ensuring they have due process when encountering the judicial system,

Data centers must be required to have their own transformers and power source, use gray water, use clean and renewable energy sources and not be located near residential communities. Currently data centers are contributing air pollution, water usage and rising consumer and commercial utility bills. The current model is not working.
The power grid is outdated, and the state does generate enough power for its residents. Additionally, the demand from data centers housed in-the state and in nearby states are contributing to rising utility bills. The state must fund more energy efficiency assistance for residential customers and invest more in clean and renewable energy infrastructure that will generate more power to help bring down utility costs. The state must reduce some of the fees and taxes on customer utility bills.
Yes. Public transportation is critical to creating livable communities. There is limited public transportation in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Public transportation reduces pollution, reduces the number of cars on the road, and helps create good jobs. According to the American Lung Association, Prince George's County received a letter grade of F in 2025 for poor air quality. This contributes to higher rates of asthma, cancer and other respirator related illnesses.
1) Increase taxes on millionaires
2) Cut wasteful spending
3) Hold companies that shift the taxes overseas accountable
I would fight to protect education, housing, environmental and job and economic development initiatives and funds.
I will stand in solidarity with immigration rights organizations, CASA, and the NAACP too.

Maryland must balance economic development with responsible planning. Data centers can create jobs and tax revenue, but they also place significant demands on energy, water, and land. I support careful evaluation of proposals that protect communities, strengthen the power grid, safeguard natural resources, and ensure local residents benefit from economic growth.
Rising utility costs are driven by energy supply challenges, regulatory decisions, and increased demand. Maryland must invest in modernizing the power grid, expand renewable and diverse energy sources, and strengthen consumer protections. I will support policies that promote transparency, accountability, and long-term affordability for Maryland families.
Reliable public transportation connects people to jobs, education, and essential services. Maryland should strengthen transit options across the state, including underserved communities. Strategic investments in buses, rail, and regional transit systems will improve mobility, reduce traffic congestion, support economic growth, and ensure residents can travel safely and affordably.
My top priorities are education, economic opportunity, and community health. I will support strong funding for public schools and special education, investments that help small businesses grow and create jobs, and programs that expand access to healthcare and preventive services. Responsible budgeting should strengthen communities and improve long-term opportunity for Maryland families.
Immigrant communities strengthen Maryland culturally and economically. I support policies that promote inclusion, protect civil rights, and expand access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity. Maryland should continue supporting programs that help immigrant families succeed, contribute to their communities, and fully participate in our state’s future.

No. Data centers drain huge amounts of electricity and water, straining Maryland’s grid and supply. They increase greenhouse gas emissions, contribute to noise pollution, and replace farmland or green space with industrial sprawl. The jobs created are few and mostly temporary. Their environmental cost, infrastructure strain, and minimal community benefit make additional data centers a poor investment for Maryland’s future.
Marylanders face higher bills due to aging grids, energy imports, and policy-driven surcharges. Rising costs also stem from data center demand and outdated infrastructure. I’ll cap annual rate hikes by the Public Service Commission, expand local renewable energy, and offer no-cost solar panels so families can generate and share surplus power across Maryland thus cutting costs and boosting energy independence.
Yes, public transportation should be expanded across Maryland. Rapid housing growth has increased traffic congestion statewide. Improving access to reliable buses, trains, and other transit options would reduce traffic, lower emissions, and make daily commutes easier. Better public transit would also boost economic opportunity, connect communities, and create a cleaner, more efficient future for Maryland.
Top priorities are cutting waste, keeping taxes low, and making Maryland energy self-sufficient so we aren’t dependent on imports. I will balance the budget by demanding efficiency and accountability in every department and streamlining overlapping agencies into more effective ones. I will focus taxpayer dollars on what matters most, including strong schools, safe communities, reliable infrastructure, and local energy independence.
I’ll support immigrants who are here legally by expanding access to jobs, education, and healthcare, while ensuring laws are applied fairly and our borders remain secure. I’ll back credential recognition for legal residents, protect DREAMers with lawful status, and strengthen programs that help families contribute to Maryland’s economy and communities. Fairness, safety, and opportunity should guide our approach.
