I support a cautious approach to data centers prefering self supported data centers that make maximum use of solar and on-site storage that ony accesing the grid between midnight and 5:00 am when demand is low.
Over-reliance on out-of-state providers. We need to maximize renewable sources in the short term and expand our nuclear capacity in the long term.
Public transportation needs to be appropriate for the population density of the area it serves. In Frederick, busses are most effective. However, our area would greatly benefit from increased MARC availability including midday and weekend service.
Healthcare, school funding, and transportation
I have supported access to Medicaid for pregnant mothers, the ability for immigrants to purchase health insurance (with no subsidies) regardless of immigration status. I have also supported language programs teaching or practicing English with newcomers, and have advocated for policies that promote inclusivity and protect immigrant rights.

Data centers can bring jobs and revenue, but must be developed responsibly. I support them only when properly sited, with local governments leading decisions. Projects must include infrastructure upgrades and avoid straining our power grid, raising energy costs, or depleting water resources. We can support growth without sacrificing quality of life.
Rising utility costs are driven by supply constraints, costly mandates, and lack of reliable energy. I support natural gas, nuclear, and renewables to help solve these issues. We must modernize the grid, increase transparency, and push back on policies that raise costs without improving reliability. Families deserve dependable energy that is affordable.
Public transportation should be improved strategically. In District 3, we need better commuter routes, less congestion, expanded park-and-ride options, and regional solutions that reflect how people travel. At the same time, many residents rely on cars, so investments must support both drivers and transit users—not a one-size-fits-all approach.
We must prioritize responsibly. My top priorities are public safety, education with accountability, and infrastructure and energy reliability without the extensive spending Maryland has been doing the past 3 years. I will ensure first responders have resources, schools focus on outcomes, and infrastructure supports growth. I will also fight wasteful spending and oppose unnecessary tax increases.
Legal immigrants strengthen Maryland and should have the opportunity to succeed. But the rule of law must be upheld. I oppose sanctuary policies that limit law enforcement cooperation. Officers should be supported and able to work with federal authorities. We need strong coordination to enforce laws consistently and keep communities safe.
