I would consider the economic growth. It would really depend upon specifics.
I consider this a big concern. I would lean toward skepticism on energy demands from large data centers that could drive costs up and push more towards oversight and alternative uses.
Balance is the key, if we keep that focus, I would oppose the bill if it led to higher taxes and increased government spending. If it attract jobs, eases congestion, I'm for it.
This would depend on the district itself. I would search for bills that reduce government spending and avoid overly complex urban planning.
Absolutely if they are here legally, they are welcome to all America has to offer. If they are here illegally, I support deportation.
Data centers can bring jobs and economic investment, but growth must be balanced with responsible planning. We must ensure our power grid, water supply, and land use can support them without burdening residents or raising utility costs. I support careful evaluation, transparency, and strong infrastructure planning before approving additional data centers.
Families and seniors across Maryland are feeling the pressure of rising utility bills. Contributing factors include energy supply challenges, infrastructure costs, and regulatory decisions. We need better oversight of rate increases and responsible long-term energy planning that protects consumers while maintaining a reliable and resilient power grid.
Reliable transportation helps people reach jobs, schools, and healthcare. Improvements should focus on reliability, safety, and efficiency while respecting local community needs. Transportation investments should strengthen economic opportunity and ensure residents across Maryland have practical options to travel for work and daily life.
My top three priorities are reducing unnecessary costs, increasing budgeting transparency, and ensuring taxpayer dollars are used efficiently. I believe the Government should be careful stewards of public funds, focusing on delivering quality services without placing undue strain on residents. I will fight for programs that get the economy moving again, put more money back in people's pockets, and reduce the cost of living for all Marylanders.
I support legal immigration and policies that ensure safe and orderly processes under the law. Strong communities are built when people work together, respect the rule of law, and share a commitment to safety, opportunity, and responsibility. Programs that encourage these things will have my support.

Data centers should come at their own cost. We should not be subsidizing them with tens-of-millions in tax subsidies as we are currently. The costs of operating data centers shouldn't come at the expense of ratepayers.
Utility costs are driven up overwhelmingly by extremist energy mandates. These mandates subsidize energy sources that barely contribute to generation. These mandates punish efficient energy sources so radically that businesses decide to close our current baseload plants - the resulting closures drive up prices, create blackouts and force eminent domain for transmission expansion. These mandates do not include long term solutions such as nuclear. These mandates must be repealed.
Public transit should not be subsidized by gas taxes on drivers.
Repeal the taxes on retirement income so that Marylanders can retire in Maryland. Repeal property taxes to restore the American dream of home ownership. Repeal income taxes so that our youth can actually afford to live and raise a family in our state. I will fight for lower spending and lower taxes.
I will support our immigrant communities by fighting for lower taxes, more affordable living and opportunities for Maryland's children. I will also fight for Maryland's communities by opposing open borders immigration policies.

Data centers play an important role in Maryland’s technology economy, but their development must be carefully managed. I support the responsible growth of data centers only when strong safeguards are in place to protect our power grid, water supply, land use, and surrounding communities. Maryland should require clear standards for energy efficiency, environmental protection, and responsible siting. I am not in agreement the council bill that puts data centers in District 6 at this time.
Rising utility costs in MD are driven by aging infrastructure, supply costs, increased energy demand, and regulatory decisions that impact rates. Many residents in our region rely on BG&E, and recent rate increases have placed additional pressure on working families and seniors. In some cases, families report using portable heaters because they cannot afford their full heating costs, which raises serious safety concerns. I support stronger oversight and energy bill assistance, and solar.
Yes. Reliable public transportation connects residents to jobs, schools, healthcare, and other essential services. In communities in District 6, many residents rely on public transit to travel throughout the region. However, challenges remain, including limited service frequency, long transfer times, reduced late-night options for workers with nontraditional hours, and traffic congestion along major corridors such as Eastern and North Point Blvds. Maryland should invest in improving reliability.
Maryland must maintain a balanced budget while investing in the needs of our communities. My top three budget priorities are education, economic opportunity, and safe communities. will support strong investment in public education to ensure students and teachers have the resources they need to succeed. Second, I will prioritize economic development that brings jobs and investment to communities. I will support programs that strengthen community safety, including youth services and mental health
We should strengthen partnerships between schools, local governments, and community organizations so immigrant families can access the support systems they need to succeed. When we ensure that all residents are treated with dignity and fairness, we strengthen Maryland’s economy and the well-being of our communities.

I believe data center proposals must be reviewed carefully. They should meet strong labor and environmental standards, protect neighbors, limit water and energy impacts, and pay for their own grid upgrades rather than shifting costs to consumers. It is important to listen to community members and collaborate with them since these decisions will impact their community. Projects that meet these expectations can be considered, and those that do not should not move forward.
Utility costs are rising due to fuel markets, aging infrastructure, storm recovery, and multi‑year rate plans that shift risk to consumers. I support stronger oversight, transparency, and affordability measures. BGE’s role as the primary utility provider in the region highlights the importance of strong consumer protections. Working with community partners and BGE is essential to addressing these challenges.
Maryland’s transportation system should be available to all Marylanders across the state so everyone has equal opportunities to travel. Accessible transportation helps people reach jobs, schools, medical care, and essential services. It strengthens local economies and reduces barriers for older adults, people with disabilities, and families. Reliable and connected transit options make communities safer, more equitable, and easier to navigate for everyone.
I prioritize safe communities with strong services and community resources. This includes violence prevention and reentry support, medical care access including women’s health, energy affordability, workforce training, and the upkeep of public buildings. I value public service improvements and initiatives that support worker safety, wellness, and fair treatment. I will listen to community members and partners collaborating on programs and services they believe will help them thrive.
Immigrants are an important part of our communities and contribute to our economy, culture, and workforce. I believe in ensuring access to language support, medical care, and community resources that help families stay stable and safe. I value programs that support education, job readiness, and fair treatment. I will listen to immigrant residents to understand what resources help them thrive.
