I support economic growth, but it must work for our communities. Data centers place heavy demands on power, water, and land, and impact nearby neighbors. Proposals should be carefully sited, use existing infrastructure where possible, and not shift costs onto ratepayers or local resources. Local community input should guide decisions, not one-size-fits-all state approvals, and projects should move forward when they meet these standards.
Rising utility costs are driven by supply constraints, infrastructure demands, and policies that shift costs onto ratepayers. We need to expand reliable, in-state energy production, invest in grid resilience, and remove barriers to local generation by addressing limits on how much power can be produced and used locally. The focus should be affordability, reliability, and long-term sustainability so families and small businesses can plan and afford to stay here.
Transportation should reflect the needs of each community. In rural areas like Cecil County, flexibility and reliability matter more than large-scale systems. I support improving options where there is demand, including regional connections and access to jobs, while ensuring investments are practical, cost-effective, and locally driven so people can reliably get to work, school, and essential services.
Maryland must live within its means. My priorities are affordability for families, responsible education funding that can be sustained, and public safety. I will support programs that deliver results, strengthen local economies, and serve core needs, while identifying inefficiencies, improving accountability, and avoiding policies that increase long-term costs or shift the burden onto taxpayers.
I support a system that is legal, orderly, and enforced. At the same time, many people want to do the right thing but face a process that is too complex and costly, especially in sectors like agriculture. We should fix inefficiencies and strengthen legal workforce pathways while upholding the law, maintaining clear expectations for following the law, and working with our schools, county agencies, and local employers.

Why I support the establishment of additional centers in Maryland is by Protecting our Utility Bill, I support the "Power for the People" approach: data centers must pay their fair share for the grid upgrades they require. I do not support subsidizing Big Tech profits with the monthly paychecks of Maryland families. Environmental Stewardship Data centers can consume millions of gallons of water daily. I support strict requirements for closed-loop cooling systems and the use of recycled.
The escalation of utility costs in Maryland is primarily driven by a combination of a massive imbalance in energy supply and demand, aging infrastructure requirements, and regulatory cost-recovery mechanisms. my focus is on shifting the financial burden away from everyday families and toward the large industrial users and utility corporations driving these costs.
Improving public transportation across Maryland is a top priority because it is essential for economic mobility, environmental goals, and social equity. The reasons why is 1.Economic Opportunity: Reliable transit connects people to jobs. In Maryland, many residents without cars are "transit-deserted," meaning they can't reach high-growth employment hubs in a reasonable timeframe. 2.Climate Goals: To meet the Climate Solutions Now Act mandates, Maryland must reduce vehicle emissions. 3.Equity:
My three top budget priorities and the specific programs I will fight for are: 1. Protecting Our Schools and the Blueprint Plan. The program i will fight for isEarly Childhood Education: I will prioritize universal Pre-K and the Concentration of Poverty grants, which provide critical wraparound services to our most vulnerable students. 2. Addressing the "Affordability Crisis" in Energy and Housing. 3. Sustaining Critical Infrastructure and the Chesapeake Bay
I will focus on protecting the safety, health, and economic contributions of our immigrant neighbors, especially amidst shifting federal policies in early 2026.
