I do support additional data centers for Md., but Md. is unprepared. Coal has been shut down, nuclear energy has been curtailed and the misguided ban on gas machines has hamstrung Md. development. Dependency on just renewable energy is foolish and destructive at this point for Md. leading to higher fees, taxes and overall cost of living. We must prioritize and grow nuclear energy, restore clean coal use, remove gas machine bans and remove electric car mandates and regulations to move ahead.
Without doubt regulations, fossil fuel bans and destructive electric use mandates by our progressive government all contribute. Reversing these mandates, allowing free choice and streamlining development are necessary. Electing more Republicans to remove our veto proof Democratic majority to achieve true bipartisanship is essential if any progress is to be made.
Absolutely. we are a mobile society and the difficulty in urban cities built around roads presents obstacles, but reasonable efforts for improvement should always be tried. It is increasingly necessary to provide easy and direct connections to jobs as well as to commercial establishments for any community to grow and thrive.
Eliminate many mandates, decrease regulations and promote common sense energy production of nuclear and coal facilities. These are worth fighting for. Energy makes the world go around and to promote common sense solutions will advance fiscal stability.
Legal immigration must be encouraged and Illegal immigration discouraged. ICE cooperation to eliminate felons must be done to stabilize our communities. ICE cooperation eliminates sweeps and protects local and federal officers from harm. Too often illegal felons terrorize their own ethnic communities. I would identify and arrest professional agitators who cause disruption and riots. Immigrants should be somewhat proficient in English and encouraged to assimilate. I enjoyed this questionnaire.

I support the establishment of data centers under limited conditions. As specified in House Bill 1532, data centers should hire, to the maximum extent possible, in–State workers for construction and operations; limit grid impacts by bringing their own storage and/or purchasing local power, engage with local communities and the State, and make their plans for meeting those expectations public.
Three factors: 1. increased distribution rates by utilities; 2. fluctuations in the cost of supply of power/gas; and 3. location of data centers in the region.  By encouraging: the build out of more energy supply (preferably renewable energy and/or nuclear energy) in the State; the use of "alternative transmission technologies" that provide the transmission of power more efficiently; and the above-described provisions for data centers, hopefully the rate of increase in utility costs will slow.
Yes, the availability of public transportation should be widely improved across the State. The cancellation of the Red Line meant that thousands of Marylanders lost out on transit access to good paying jobs. MARC service should be expanded and Baltimore County should receive more LOTS funding (Locally Operated Transit Systems).

I am a co-sponsor of HB444, which prohibits state and local governments from being allowed to enter into 287(g) agreements with ICE. I also was a co-sponsor of last year's HB 1222 (Public Safety - Immigration Enforcement) and was sponsor of HB 23 (2021) (Personal Information - State and Local Agencies - Restrictions on Access (Maryland Driver Privacy Act)). Maryland must do all it can to protect immigrant communities.
