I support a comprehensive policy framework aimed at reducing the utility costs borne by residents caused by the proliferation of data centers. This policy focuses on four primary strategies: forcing private funding of infrastructure, implementing "Bring Your Own Power" requirements, developing specialized rates and tariffs, and strengthening regulatory oversight.
Increased utility costs are driven by several primary forces, including increased distribution and infrastructure costs, increased demand and supply constraints, and volatile markets for energy supply costs. The solutions I support, include tax credits and rebates, price caps and rate stabilization, ongoing assistance programs, partnerships with nonprofits, and investment in renewable energy, smart grid technology, and energy efficiency standards.
Expanding access to public transportation in Maryland is crucial for stimulating economic growth, alleviating poverty by linking residents to employment opportunities, and promoting equity. Improved transit options enhance regional competitiveness, diminish environmental pollution, and offer safe, sustainable, and affordable alternatives to dependence on cars.
I am committed to creating a prosperous and sustainable future for our community. My campaign is centered around three key budget priorities: investing in education, environmental protections, and economic equity. These priorities are interconnected pillars that will build a stronger, more resilient Maryland for all its residents. I will fight for programs like the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future, the Maryland Utility RELIEF Act, and the Enough Act.

My work would strengthen the key pillars that support Maryland immigrants. This includes: The Office of Immigrant Affairs (which focuses on skill development, business resources, reducing exploitation, and neighborhood-based opportunities), organizations that offer refugee and asylee support programs, legal and rights protection entities, and community service groups that support education and health integration.
