I will ONLY support the establishment of data centers IF they are developed with strict adherence to local zoning and environmental protections. While they offer significant tax revenue, we cannot sacrifice the stability of our power grid or our water security. I will fight to ensure that data center developers—not County taxpayers—foot the bill for any necessary infrastructure upgrades and that these facilities are located in industrial corridors, protecting our Rural Legacy areas.
Maryland’s utility costs are skyrocketing due to over-regulation and an aggressive, top-down move to unproven energy mandates. The "all-electric" push is straining the grid and forcing families to pay more for less reliability. We must increase in-state power generation from all sources – including natural gas and nuclear – to lower rates. I will fight to review and reduce hidden "environmental surcharges" on monthly bills, and protect consumer choice in heating homes and powering businesses.
Public transportation must be efficient and fiscally responsible. While transit is vital for some, we need a balanced approach that respects taxpayers and improves safety on existing roads. As such, I support improving public transportation but oppose mandates that divert critical highway funds to underutilized transit projects. I will also fight to ensure that the Transportation Trust Fund is used for its intended purpose—infrastructure—rather than being diverted to balance the general fund.
My priorities are: (1) Address the $1.5 billion deficit WITHOUT RAISING TAXES. (2) Fully fund law enforcement and ensure they have resources needed to keep our communities safe. (3) Focus on economic competitiveness, cut wasteful spending, reduce corporate tax rate to keep jobs in MD, and eliminate retirement tax. I will fight for programs that lower the cost of living for young families, ALICE households, and seniors on a fixed income so we become an affordable place to live, work, and retire.
My grandfather, who was an immigrant, told me about American values like hard work, following the rule of law, and assimilating to become a valued part of the community. For those who enrich our culture and workforce, I will prioritize workforce development and vocational training programs, support policies that help small-businesses so that the American Dream is accessible, and focus on fostering a robust economy where immigrants and natural-born citizens alike have the opportunity to succeed.

I support data centers if they are developed responsibly. We must ensure an adequate energy supply that is not subsidized by ratepayers. We need to understand the environmental impacts (air, water, and noise). We need to ensure that their investment in the community exceeds their tax breaks. Finally, there should be strict guidelines regarding site location.
Poorly managed PJM that has failed to plan adequately, record profits from electricity providers, excessive demand from data centers.
I am supporting the Reducing Energy Load Inflation for Everyday Families Act (RELIEF).
Yes, we need greater investments in public transit as well as greater investments to repair our roads and bridges.
Expansion of Frederick Health Hospital bed capacity
Family Connects Funding (home visits by a nurse 3 months after delivery)
Funding for support services for individuals with disabilities
I was a co-sponsor of the bill to eliminate the 287(g) program. Immigrants are a vital part of our economy and the vast majority are hard-working individuals who should have their rights protected.
