I am committed to protecting the right to vote, which is why I am a proud cosponsor of the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Act, legislation to ensure every American’s voice is heard at the ballot box. I also oppose legislation that creates new barriers to voting like the SAVE Act, which could disenfranchise millions of Americans, particularly women. Finally, I will continue to trust and support state and local election officials who fairly and effectively run secure elections.
I do not. Under the current Administration, ICE has repeatedly undermined public trust, including through wrongful arrests, the deportation of American citizens and a routine disregard for widely-accepted law enforcement standards. This reckless conduct turned deadly when two Americans were killed during federal enforcement operations in Minnesota. These tragedies were entirely preventable and demand immediate change.
Voters gave Congress a clear mandate: address skyrocketing costs. Unfortunately, Congressional Republicans have consistently prevented efforts to lower costs for hardworking Americans. In fact, their support for cost-raising tariffs and refusal to extend the now-expired Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits have only increased the cost of living. That is why I am fighting back everyday: against the tariffs, and for the ACA tax credits and other programs that put money back into your pockets.
We should be focused on ensuring the safety of Americans and setting an example for the entire world through a balance between strategic defense spending, international aid and diplomacy. Trump Administration policies have done the opposite: cutting aid and taking unauthorized military actions, which undermines our credibility abroad and risks more conflicts — actions that jeopardize the lives of our military personnel and drive up costs at home.
We must strengthen our social safety nets – not weaken them. I opposed legislation giving tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy while cutting Medicaid and SNAP. I fought to release SNAP funding during government shutdowns and introduced amendments to block unnecessary work requirements. I will continue to fight cuts and work to strengthen support for vulnerable Marylanders.

There should be immediate action towards this abusive behaviour towards our democracy. Because of these political extremists, there has been a threat of overturning the government and institutions, along with injuries and deaths of American citizens due to their reckless acts. Extreme consequences should be put into law for extremist politicians. These laws should apply to every American citizen, including Congress, the Senate, the President and Vice President, and yes, even the Supreme Court.
No, one problem The Laken Riley Act should be amended. or abolished it, it has already destroyed innocent immigrants and American citizens. Second, it should be a more humane processing system to speed up the pathway to citizenship.
Raising the minimum wage from 7.25 an hour to 23.85 an hour with a cost of living increase every 2 years for the next 10 years. universal healthcare that will cover everyone and eliminate medical debt. a job growth programme that will help unskilled workers, unemployed/underemployed/homeless people/veterans and formerly incarcerated people, and also people in disenfranchised neighbourhoods. my Poverty to Profession will be 10- to 14-week program to pre-train for certified/professional jobs.
A joke, because of this administration. We are laughed at and mocked. and hated by other countries. Also, the United States' undying support for Israel has made us unpopular with other countries as well. Global leadership and security are what we seriously need to get back in our government.

The Save Act is essential to assure photo Voter Identification, and proof of Legal U.S. Citizenship is required, as well Voter rolls are purged of any persons, deceased, moved, or where citizenship has not been proven. That we eliminate mail in ballots except in cases of special circumstances, and military service members. And eliminate same day registration and voting. Eliminate Voting Machines use Paper Ballots. To protect every person’s rights: one person one vote.
We must assure America is secure to prevent senseless acts of violence from those who have entered our country illegally. We must maintain secure borders, as they establish our safety, security, and sovereignty. A nation that fails to control its borders cannot protect its citizens, preserve the rule of law, or sustain the liberty that defines the American Republic. End sanctuary for illegal aliens at all levels of government.

Expand mental health capacity and ensure veterans receive timely care through community doctors, clinics, and hospitals. Reinstitute able-bodied work requirements and lower barriers to employment to rebuild the economic ladder so all Americans can pursue happiness and achieve the American Dream. Reform Social Security to strengthen it and reform it to assure families can build legacy wealth.
