DUTIES: The Republican Central Committee is responsible for leading and organizing the day-to-day operations of the local Republican Party. The Committee recommends candidates to the Governor to fill vacancies in state and local offices when a member of the party resigns or dies in office. County Central Committees work with the State Central Committee, which in turn works with the national party.TERM: Four years, no term limit.SALARY: None.HOW ELECTED: Republican Central Committee members are elected countywide by registered party members.

I have been a Realtor for 48 years. I have been a team leader, the President of the Coastal Association of Realtors and served on the board for 9 years. I do a lot of volunteering for different organizations within the Worcester county area. I am therefore very used to dealing with the public and getting to know People from all walks of life. My values are strong as a lifelong Marylander and a Worcester county resident since 1991. I care deeply about the eastern shore way of living and want to help to keep it a safe County for every resident.
I'm not opposed to open primaries as I believe that everyone should have a vote. Not allowing independent voters to vote either for a republican or democrat doesn't seem fair. Independent people may not believe in everything the other two parties believe in, so therefore are not willing to pick sides.
