Other duties include recording of deeds and collecting taxes and fees based on property transactions, issuing licenses for fishing, hunting, sales of liquor and marriage. They also perform civil wedding ceremonies and process passport applications.SALARY: $122,000.TERM: Four years, no term limit.HOW ELECTED: Elected countywide.

I will use my decades of legal, technological, and public service experience to help maintain and improve operations at our Clerk's Office.
My goals are to continue expanding courthouse services while carefully conserving taxpayer resources.
Over the last 7 years, our office successfully implemented paperless delivery of case records and online processing of business licenses, while significantly expanding digital access to real estate recordings and historical records. We also reduced staffing, reduced office space by over 10%, and reduced annual supply costs by over 25%. Over the next four years, I will continue to expand these initiatives, while also looking to improve the consolidation, accessibility, and digitization of other services at the courthouse.
