My experience has prepared me for this office through more than three decades of managing people, budgets, operations, and community‑facing services, combined with years of leadership in civic and nonprofit organizations
My priorities for the county’s land use policies center on responsible growth, protection of rural communities, and ensuring that development decisions reflect the needs and voices of the people who live here
Safeguarding and improving the county’s health starts with recognizing that health is more than medical care — it’s access, environment, education, and the conditions in which people live. My priority is to support policies and partnerships that strengthen all of these areas so every resident has a fair chance at good health.
The county should strengthen partnerships with educational institutions and workforce development organizations. By working with local schools, Wor‑Wic Community College, and employers, we can expand job training programs that prepare residents for careers in trades, healthcare, technology, and other high‑demand fields. We must support small businesses and entrepreneurs. This includes expanding access to micro‑grants, technical assistance, and mentorship programs — especially for minority‑owned, women‑owned, and rural businesses that often face additional barriers
We must protect and preserve the affordable housing we already have. That means supporting programs that help homeowners with repairs, weatherization, and accessibility upgrades so they can stay in their homes. It also means working with landlords and nonprofit partners to maintain safe, stable rental housing.
