I bring more than 30 years of experience in communications and customer service, along with a degree in accounting and over 20 years serving as a Notary Public in Maryland. As a former fostermom and guardian to 11 minors, I gained firsthand experience with the court system. I also served as an elected School Board member from 2018–2022 and retired from Verizon after 28 years. My life experiences have strengthened my commitment to helping families protect their legacy and prepare for the future.
I believe the greatest need in the Orphans’ Court and Register of Wills office is making the probate process easier to understand and more accessible for families. Many residents encounter it for the first time after losing a loved one. I would focus on public education, removing barriers to access, and ensuring families receive clear guidance. Staff should also be trained to provide compassionate service and create a supportive environment during a difficult time.
A key priority is improving access and fairness by removing barriers for individuals with disabilities and residents from diverse cultural backgrounds. Everyone should feel the process is respectful and easy to understand. I also support on-the-go services that bring information and assistance into communities, churches, and community centers so residents can access help in places where they feel comfortable and prepare their wills with confidence.
My priority is to serve families with care, clarity, and commitment. To always putting people first. I believe in protecting legacies and leading with integrity. When a loved one passes, their final wishes should already be prepared, honored, and carried out with dignity and respect for their family. I am committed to protecting our community’s legacy with compassion, fairness, and integrity.

In my career and current role as Chief of Staff, I work closely with families navigating emotional, time-sensitive situations requiring empathy, integrity, and clear communication. I have a proven track record of building effective systems, improving efficiency, and ensuring accountability. I will bring strong leadership and a service-first mindset to ensure every resident is treated with compassionate care.
Too many families face a process that feels confusing and intimidating during their most difficult moments. We need clearer guidance and simpler processes rooted in compassion. Efficiency with accountability is also vital because delays create unnecessary hardship. I will champion transparency, modernization, and responsive communication to build public trust. Our court must reflect our diversity, serving every resident with dignity and fairness.
I will elevate the Register of Wills by prioritizing timeliness, advocacy, and proactive outreach. Using multimedia tools, I will engage residents to protect their assets before a crisis occurs. I will leverage my experience in the General Assembly to advocate for modernized legislation that supports our families. My leadership will foster an efficient office rooted in trust and integrity, providing the clear guidance and professional service Prince George’s County residents deserve.
My priority is protecting the legacy of Prince George’s County by helping residents and local shops retain property and generational wealth. I will advocate for modernizing Maryland’s tax structure and provide the resources necessary to resolve title issues so families can recoup and protect land that is rightfully theirs. I will also ensure our union brothers and sisters protect their hard-won gains. I will be a visible partner at community events to keep our assets in our hands.

As a practicing attorney for many years, I have guided many families through the resolution of many legal matters, including the process of settling their deceased love one's estate and serving as guardians. As a former elected Clerk of the Circuit Court, I am intimately familiar with the innerworkings of the courts and the roles of the State and County in ensuring adequate funding for the Office to meet statutorily imposed duties, as recordkeepers and administrators of the probate process.
Identified areas of need in the Register's office include improving timeliness, accessibility, accuracy, and responsiveness in communications with families and attorneys doing business with the office. Budgetary constraints need to be addressed to ensure adequate staffing and modernization of the office to meet the increasing demand for services, to better use technology and to streamline processes in order to reduce delays and increase staff productivity.
I will invest in staff training, implement standards and procedures to enhance all office functions and provide clear, guidance on court processes while ensuring that staff do not cross the line of providing legal advice.
If elected, my focus will be on providing superior customer service to include procedures to ensure the timely and professional administration of all phases of the probate and guardianship processes. Additionally, I will implement measures to ensure that the records entrusted to the Office of the Register are well-organized and accurately maintained.

My professional background in cybersecurity and data integrity supporting senior leadership at the DoD, U.S. Treasury, and the Maryland Department of Information Technology prepared me to safeguard sensitive information and strengthen accountability across government and the judiciary. As a civil liberties advocate focused on protecting people and systems, I work to correct harmful errors and defend lawful rights. I will bring transparency, integrity, and compassionate care to PG County Families
The probate process must strengthen transparency, record integrity, and clear guidance for families. I have seen too many people leave the court in tears—not because they could not accept outcomes, but because the process felt confusing and dehumanizing. I will support stronger coordination between the Register’s office and the judiciary, improve public information, and ensure families receive respectful, compassionate service during probate.
Families navigating probate are often grieving and deserve clarity, compassion, and professionalism. Under my leadership, residents will never be treated like case numbers or as if they are a bother. I am here to serve and comfort families with patience and presence in their times of trouble. The Register’s office will provide clear guidance, accurate information, and respectful service to Prince George’s County families.

With over 10 years of experience, including five years as Assistant Chief Deputy and Supervisor of the New Estates Division, I am well prepared for this role. Through daily interaction with county residents, I have developed a strong understanding of the legal, administrative, and personal needs involved in protecting family legacies. In this leadership role, I oversee estate administration operations, support staff, and assist residents navigating some of life’s most sensitive transitions.
One of the greatest needs in the Orphans’ Court system is improved consistency and efficiency between the Orphans’ Court and the Register of Wills office. Establishing more coordinated procedures can help reduce processing times and allow personal representatives to be appointed more quickly.
Timeliness is also essential, as many matters involve urgent situations such as preventing foreclosures or enabling families to access funds for burial expenses. Orders and hearings must be handled promptly
My priority is to make the Register’s Office more efficient, accessible, and responsive to the public. I will improve the website, expand electronic filing, and explore secure online support to help residents navigate probate. I will also ensure seniors and families receive respectful, clear, and timely service when handling estate matters. Ultimately, the focus is on improving current systems, reducing complaints, and ensuring that constituents receive timely, helpful, and compassionate service
My priority is ensuring constituents receive timely, efficient, and respectful service during the probate process, especially during difficult times for families. I also want to improve communication and provide clearer guidance so residents better understand estate administration. By streamlining procedures and increasing transparency, we can reduce delays and help families settle estates more efficiently.
