I hold a B.S. in Legal Studies and have 11 years of government service as a Program Analyst, including with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. I worked in the Prosthetics Department with an overall budget of $17 million, helping lead one of the nation’s top Clothing Allowance programs for veterans. As Founder of Life After Release, I have helped hundreds of Prince George’s County residents navigate court records and expungements and served on a statewide reentry task force appoint
My priorities are to ensure the Clerk’s office is secure, efficient, and equitable, delivering Justice You Can See. Court records must be protected and accurate, services must operate efficiently, and all residents must have fair access to court information. I will strengthen record management, improve customer service, expand public education about court processes and expungement, and build a workforce that reflects the residents of Prince George’s County.
I will maintain and improve public service by making the Clerk’s office secure, efficient, and equitable. This includes improving customer service, ensuring court records are accurate and accessible, and expanding public education so residents understand court processes and expungement. Through community outreach and clear information, I will work to deliver Justice You Can See and ensure the Clerk’s office serves all residents of Prince George’s County.
To ensure effective and efficient operations, the Clerk’s office should strengthen record accuracy, modernize digital access to court records, and improve customer service. Clear information for self-represented litigants and better community education about court processes and expungement can help residents navigate the system. Investing in staff training and strong record management will support a secure, efficient, and equitable office that delivers Justice You Can See.
