My military experience gives me integrity to address problems and execute solutions. My degrees in Political Science, and Public Administration, give me insight of how government should work. My degree in Emergency Management, gives better preparation for emergencies, and quick mitigation. My Accounting and Auditing background will benefit budgeting. Law Enforcement experience, will help integrate law enforcement into the community. My 28 years in Education give me vast knowledge of PGCPS.
I would like an immediate forensic audit, to compare with the amounts spent. After the audit, I will align the budget recommendation to the County Council. My priorities are health care, food security, public safety, law enforcement, street paving and lighting, school system reform, framework for citizen investments, and county investments in resources we already possess to generate revenues. Those increased revenues are to lower tax burdens and provide a rainy-day fund of at least $200 million.
Public hearings for any proposed land use need to be more visible. The little signs announcing hearings are not sufficient. Citizens must be involved every step of the way. Building permits will have a two-to-three-year expiration date. I will create a real Department of Development Planning, to make sure there are clearly designed zones, and plans of what can be in certain areas. We must expand beyond just fossil fuels, and require environmental and noise pollution be mitigated.
We must show responsible budgeting to gain confidence. A curriculum will be developed, including vocational, to elevate our students. School safety will be critical, to show parents they can trust us with their children. Special education will be self-contained, the community school model will be expanded, to embrace the needs of students and parents. As we move to reward students in grades 9-12 with monthly events such as movie or game evenings, we will invite parents to chaperone and assist.
Since 2018, I have suggested a robust mobile health department to service all communities, educate, treat, and identify those with mental health and underlying conditions. With this, lives could have been saved in the Pandemic. Healthy eating and farmer markets will be a preventative priority. A long-term goal is to create North and South Charity Hospitals for those that cannot afford to pay. In the interim, we can use charity donations to issue cards for health care, with established rates.
The county government can encourage economic growth by the use of citizen organized investments. The minimum $100 investments in everything from grocery stores, major franchises, and building projects, will help spur the economy and create jobs, allow residents to improve their lives, and create generational wealth for families. The county government can use available properties and resources to recycle, build, and manufacture, to create jobs and increase revenues.
Competition is the word. We will help coordinate citizen investments in major affordable housing projects. The properties will be rental or for home ownership. The rates will be affordable, consistent, and in direct competition with current developers and rental housing owners. They will still sell and rent, but with this citizen invested affordable housing, they will consider lowering their rates to sell, or keep their rental units filled.
My top three priorities are citizen health, citizen safety, and economic development. Citizen health is preventative, and treatment, for physical and mental health. Citizen safety includes transitioning from police to public safety, with community integration, live monitored cameras, more frequent patrols, better lit and paved streets. Economic development means making sure every large project has some citizen investment, and the county increases revenues to lower taxes.

I’m an executive leader who has managed complex initiatives, built cross-sector partnerships, and delivered measurable results. As Managing Principal of Holmes Ventures Global and a nonprofit executive, I’ve led strategy, operations, budgeting, and community-facing work. That experience prepares me to run county government with accountability, transparency, and competence.
My priorities are fiscal discipline that improves daily life: protecting core services, strengthening security through prevention, supporting schools and workforce readiness, real estate consolidation that guides our efforts to a zero-carbon footprint by 2030, and investing in economic growth that expands the tax base. A balanced budget matters, but residents deserve outcomes they can feel, with clear performance measures and responsible spending.
Priorities include smart growth near transit, protecting neighborhoods from incompatible development, and building climate resilience through stormwater upgrades and green infrastructure. Environmental justice must be measurable—cleaner air and water, safer heat and flood mitigation, and equitable access to parks and healthy communities. Prince George’s should lead in renewable energy and clean tech to create jobs while protecting the quality of life.

I will strengthen the partnership among the County, schools, families, and community organizations to support students and teachers by coordinating resources and ensuring real accountability. A new tech partnership will make our middle and high schools the most advanced in the region — building a pipeline of prepared, competitive graduates. My focus: safer routes, expanded mentorship and internship pathways, and workforce-ready outcomes that strengthen families and communities.
We need preparedness that is proactive with clear emergency plans, strong data sharing, and supply and staffing readiness. My priorities include mental health access, chronic disease prevention, and stronger community-based health outreach, especially for seniors and vulnerable residents. Public health must be coordinated across agencies and trusted community partners. We must create a surge corps of health support in communities to meet the needs during emerging health challenges.
Economic growth starts with creating a new environment and business culture for growth. I will streamline the permitting process, establish a team of subject matter experts to attract high-growth industries, build partnerships, and lead to increased investment that connects residents to training and jobs, resulting in enhanced experiences. We must expand the tax base through business retention and relocation, while ensuring residents benefit through real opportunities and upward mobility.
We need more affordable units through smarter zoning, faster approvals, and stronger partnerships with responsible developers and nonprofits. I support preservation of existing affordability, targeted housing for seniors and working families, and prevention-first strategies to reduce homelessness. The goal is stability: housing options that match incomes and services that keep people housed.
My top priorities are Economic Growth, Security, Affordability, and Accountability. Prince George’s County deserves leadership that is transparent and measurable. We must win the future with jobs and innovation, build safe and secure communities, deliver cost stability families can feel, and with our OIG ballot initiative, embed the independent oversight that makes every promise enforceable.
