DUTIES: The Sheriff carries out court orders, delivers summonses, and executes bench warrants. The Sheriff performs police or corrections functions in jurisdictions where there are no County police or correction departments. The Sheriff's office is divided into four areas: the Civil Section, the Criminal Section, the Court and Transportation Section, and the Special Operations Section.TERM: Four years, no term limitSALARY: $191,942HOW ELECTED: Elected countywide
