My priorities are: First, expanding youth programs, including after-school and workforce training, to support families and prevent crime. Second, funding environmental protection to preserve farmland and waterways and avoid costly long-term damage. Third, investing in public transit to connect residents to jobs and reduce congestion.
I support strong agricultural and open space preservation through easements, while directing growth to existing communities through transit-oriented development. We must invest in infrastructure (especially transit, water systems, and schools) before approving large projects, and require that developers meet environmental and traffic impact standards.
First, protect and support agriculture as a key part of our local economy. Second, invest in transit and infrastructure to attract employers and connect workers. Third, support small businesses and green industries through grants and streamlined permitting. I will prioritize these in the budget and partner with state and regional agencies.
I will support efforts to expand public transit options to reduce transportation costs, support energy efficiency programs to lower utility bills, and advocate for childcare and youth program funding to ease family expenses. I also support responsible growth policies that keep long-term county costs manageable.
I will support workforce housing through inclusionary zoning and incentives for mixed-income developments in appropriate growth areas, while preserving farmland and rural communities. We should focus housing near transit and job centers, streamline approvals, and partner with nonprofits to expand and protect affordable housing options.
I grew up in Bel Air South and have experienced many of the challenges facing our community. Experiencing racism in school drives my commitment to inclusive youth programs. After a nearby gas explosion damaged my home, I’m focused on safer housing. When rising auto insurance costs forced me to rely on walking, it reinforced my belief in affordable, accessible public transit.

My top fiscal priorities are disciplined budgeting, infrastructure investment, and protecting taxpayers. The County should focus on core services like public safety, education, and roads while avoiding unnecessary tax increases. I support long-term planning for capital projects and ensuring growth contributes to the infrastructure it requires. Families and small businesses deserve responsible, accountable government.
I will support zoning and land use policies that protect farmland, support farmers, and keep agriculture a strong part of our local economy. I support maintaining clear growth boundaries, directing development to appropriate areas, and requiring infrastructure to keep pace. I also support redevelopment where services already exist and ensuring land use decisions reflect community input and protect quality of life.
Harford County can strengthen job growth by supporting small businesses and attracting targeted industries tied to APG, agriculture, manufacturing, and emerging fields like biomanufacturing. We should expand workforce partnerships with schools and Harford Community College and ensure infrastructure keeps pace with job growth. I will focus on policies that encourage job growth and support local businesses.
Keeping Harford County affordable requires disciplined budgeting and responsible growth. I will support budgets that prioritize core services and avoid unnecessary tax increases. I will support land use and infrastructure policies that ensure growth is planned and does not create added costs for residents. Thoughtful planning helps keep taxes stable and protects long-term affordability for families and seniors.
I will support housing policies that encourage attainable housing for working families in areas where infrastructure and services already exist. I will support zoning and planning decisions that align housing with roads, schools, and public safety capacity while protecting established neighborhoods and rural areas, and support redevelopment and revitalization in appropriate areas.
I have lived in Harford County for over 30 years and raised my family in Fallston. For over 15 years, I have worked with communities on issues like growth, traffic, and schools. I serve on the Planning Advisory Board, chair the Fallston Community Advisory Board, and am President of Friends of Harford. I served 12 years in the Army National Guard (Captain) while working in the private sector. My experience will guide well-planned decisions that benefit residents and protect our quality of life.

1) Finding a balance between not putting more burden on our tax payers, while ensuring that fiscal needs are not kicked down the road. 2) Funding our public schools: I am the only Harford County Public School parent in Harford County Legislative government, and I take that responsibility very seriously. 3)Public Safety: Ensuring that those that keep us safe- have want they need to keep them safe.
I am a big believer in redevelopment and using the developed land that needs new life. As a generational farmer I want to ensure that future generations can also enjoy the agricultural life.
1) Creating more apprenticeship opportunities that allow for people to get a foot in the door to high paying and sustainable jobs. 2) Invest in more high school and trade programs to allow for students the opportunity to explore careers prior to or in lieu of college. 3) Support businesses that partner with APG to have their offices and manufacturing business locally.
We need to invest in housing and expand transportation in the areas that are already built for high density, with local employment options.
We need to invest in housing for the population that will sustain the workforce in that area.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have worked largely in schools and with trauma survivors, and I carry those ethics in everything I do as an elected official.

I have been on various boards, commissions and commities, as several are listed below: -Harford County Commission for Women -Police Accountability Board -The ARC of Northern Ches. Standing Committee -Harford County Public Library Board of Trustees -Harford County Humane Society Board
