DUTIES: The Clerk of the Circuit Court oversees the office that performs many administrative duties for the Circuit Court including the maintenance of court records. Other duties include recording of deeds and collecting taxes and fees based on property transactions, issuing licenses for fishing, hunting, sales of liquor and marriage. They also perform civil wedding ceremonies and process passport applications.SALARY: $109,000TERM: Four years, no term limit.HOW ELECTED: Elected countywide.
