I have worked in the legal field since 1972. 25 years with Senator Fred Malkus-13 years as his administrative assistant. Continued my legal experience with the law firm of Wilson & Collison for three years. Served 13 years as Deputy Register of Wills becoming Chief Deputy in 2012 and serving in that capacity until appointed Register of Wills by the Judges of the Orphans' Court on November 3, 2020 upon the death of Doris K. Lewis till present. Emphases based on real estate and probate law.
My priorities are to continue with the honesty, integrity, compassion and confidentiality of the office of the Register of Wills. Meeting the sympathetic needs of families/friends at a painful time in their lives.
I have excellent employees in the office that do a great job serving the public and do not see any need for any changes. My office does not make policy, but we must carry out the rules and regulations regarding the Estates & Trust Articles, Tax General and Maryland Rules of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
