I am a four term elected Clerk of the Circuit Court with 42 years of legal experience and training. I have a Master’s in Social Work. My career and passion centers around the mission of the Maryland State Judiciary and specifically the Circuit Court for Dorchester County. I have and will continue to serve all of Dorchester County in my position as your Clerk of Court.
My biggest priority is serving the citizens of Dorchester County and those who enter the Circuit Court. We strive to give customers resources to help them with their situation. Additionally, my office processes all court cases in a timely manner, making sure hearings are scheduled accordingly. Within land records and licensing, we ensure records and applications are processed with expediency.
With the increasing change of court records into an electronic format, it is my duty to increase public access so that those seeking the information recorded and filed within the Circuit Court is available. It is highly important to me that my staff continue professional training and development in order that they effectively serve our customers.
