The Register collects Maryland inheritance tax on estates and probate fees; maintains all records of wills and estates of deceased persons; acts as clerk to the Orphans’ Court; and safeguards wills of living persons who reside in the county.SALARY:$114,641TERM: Four years, no term limit.HOW ELECTED: Elected countywide.
