I'm recently retired from a local small business. In addition to sales and customer support, I maintained databases, created sales and project management tools, and supported the company, as one does in a small organization. I have built strong organizational and professional skills. In 2019 our family was met with a very real crisis. As we navigated the court system, we were fortunate and grateful to find compassionate and knowledgeable resources to help. I wish to carry on those values.
I am confident that the existing systems of recording the court's records is well designed and efficient, so I will not be jumping in to change everything - but to learn first. What will follow will be taking advice from those with experience in the system, carefully considering suggested changes, and weighing the pros and cons with open conversations before implementing. I will aspire to leave the office, somehow, better than I found it.
First and foremost I will focus on serving the public. Ensuring that our office is well trained and making resources accessible for everyone. A knowledgeable, competent, and helpful employee is efficient, by definition.
