DUTIES: The Republican Central Committee is responsible for leading and organizing the day-to-day operations of the local Republican Party. The Committee recommends candidates to the Governor to fill vacancies in state and local offices when a member of the party resigns or dies in office. County Central Committees work with the State Central Committee, which in turn works with the national party.TERM: Four years, no term limit.SALARY: None.HOW ELECTED: Republican Central Committee members are elected countywide by registered party members.

Continuity in government matters, but so does voter representation. When vacancies occur, the process should prioritize transparency and public trust. I believe communities should have as much voice as possible in who represents them.
As someone new to running for office, I believe leadership should start with honesty and accountability. When a vacancy occurs in the Maryland General Assembly, the person selected should have strong ties to the community, a record of service, and the integrity to represent the people of the district with transparency and fairness.
I want to serve on my party’s Central Committee because I believe strong communities begin with engaged leadership and honest representation. My professional background in the helping field and clinical work has given me a deep understanding of the challenges many families face, as well as the importance of listening, problem-solving, and advocating for others. Throughout my life I have overcome significant trials and tribulations, experiences that strengthened my resilience and shaped my commit
My approach is simple: put the community first. Appointments should focus on integrity, commitment to service, and a genuine willingness to represent the district—whether that person is an experienced leader or a newcomer ready to serve.
