I do not support special elections. The current system is adequate. Besides, special elections would add additional cost to the taxpayer.
The person who best reflects the community and party interests and values. Integrity is paramount in my view.
I have served on the Central Committee for over 6 years now. I like what I'm doing, and it is one way of looking out for and giving back to my community.
Through my experience, as well as carefully listening to and looking at the candidates record. Consultation with other committee members is also important.

No. Members of the Central Committee know the community activists and Party leaders and are in a better position to pick replacements for the rest of that cycle.
Character, experience, temperament, issues and their interest in growing our Party.
An elected official may only get paid for 90 days in Annapolis, but their duty to the community and Party is a full time responsibility.
As the longest serving member of the Maryland Republican Central Committee, I feel it is my duty to educate and inform other Central Committee members of the way things work.
It is also my opportunity to go to the community to serve as an ambassador to the Republican Party and the elected Republicans.
