I’m running for County Council to strengthen our community through smart growth, strong schools, and support for local families and first responders. As a small business owner, and manager. I’ve managed budgets, led teams, and solved real problems. My work with civic, environmental, arts, and education groups gives me the experience to deliver practical, community-driven solutions.
I’ll strive to balance district priorities with the County’s long-term good by listening to residents, small businesses, first responders, organizations, and unions, grounding decisions in data, transparency, and equity. I will advocate for my district while supporting solutions that strengthen the whole County—ensuring fairness, fiscal responsibility, and that no community is left behind.
I plan to evaluate land use based on smart growth, environmental protection, infrastructure capacity, housing affordability, and community impact. I will actively offer district input through town halls, surveys, and meetings with residents, civic groups, small businesses, and first responders to ensure decisions reflect local needs and County-wide priorities.
I will advocate for good-paying jobs by supporting small business growth, workforce training programs, and partnerships with local industries, schools, and unions. I will also back investments in infrastructure, affordable housing, and childcare to reduce barriers to work. By strengthening our local economy and ensuring residents have the tools and resources they need, we can raise wages and improve quality of life across the County.
I would like to advance smart growth policies to expand affordable and workforce housing, including mixed-use development, and incentives for redevelopment. I’ll work with residents and stakeholders to ensure policies are effective and equitable, while supporting efficient permitting, infrastructure investment, and environmental protection.
I believe Anne Arundel County’s greatest challenge is balancing growth with quality of life—traffic, housing affordability, and environmental sustainability all intersect. I will prioritize smart land use policies, invest in transportation infrastructure, support diverse housing options, and work with community stakeholders to ensure development strengthens our neighborhoods.
