First, I believe in responsible budgeting and transparency. Taxpayers deserve to know how their money is being spent, and we need to make sure every dollar is used efficiently. Second, I am focused on growing our local economy in a sustainable way. We need to support small businesses, attract new employers, and invest in workforce development so that people can find good-paying jobs right here in our community. Third, I want to protect and prioritize essential services, like education.
I support preserving farmland, natural resources, and historic communities through strong land-use planning and conservation. For development, I prioritize smart growth in areas with existing infrastructure and revitalizing vacant properties. I support investing in roads, water and sewer, and expanding broadband, while pursuing state and federal funding to reduce the burden on taxpayers.
Economic growth starts with supporting small businesses, preparing our workforce, and improving infrastructure. I will cut red tape for businesses, connect education to local job opportunities, and pursue funding for broadband and site development so businesses can grow and people can stay and succeed here.
Affordability means keeping taxes stable, increasing good-paying jobs, and improving housing options. I will pursue outside funding to reduce local costs, support smart economic growth, and invest in infrastructure wisely so residents aren’t hit with higher costs in the future.
I will support increasing workforce housing by promoting redevelopment of vacant properties, reducing unnecessary barriers in the permitting process, and encouraging housing development in areas with existing water, sewer, and transportation infrastructure to keep costs manageable.
I have been a teacher for over a decade, with experience in fundraising, managing different groups of people, and growing programs. I am also a realtor with multi-million dollar sales every year, working with both residential and commercial clients as well as investors. I have the knowledge, grit, and compassion to help this county grow to the maximum of its potential.
