Your address indicates you live within the town limits of Eastover.POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Town of Eastover has a non-partisan mayor-council form of government, including the mayor and 4 council members who serve alternating 4-year terms. The mayor and council members have equal votes and are responsible for making policy and enacting laws. To serve as Council Member a person must be a resident of the town or city, at least 18 years of age and registered to vote. This election is for two town council seats.EARLY VOTING: If you prefer to vote prior to April 14, you can vote during a two-week early voting period, beginning Monday, March 30 and ending Friday, April 10 from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Early voting is at the Richland County Voter Registration and Elections Office: 300 Columbia Mall Blvd, Suite 210, Columbia, SC 29223.ABSENTEE VOTING: Or you may be eligible to vote absentee by mail.
