LaCrosse County continues to need strong leadership to remain fiscally sound and focus its funds on the highest priority projects.
LaCrosse County needs to bring clarity to the budgeting process so that it can be more accessible and explainable to the general public.

The County needs to direct funding to projects that meet the greatest community needs like our roadways. The County also needs to remain mindful of water quality and set up processes to insure it remains a high priority.
The top two issues are the lack of adequate road maintenance and the lack of strategic planning.
On the topic of road maintenance, the County needs to be sure we are exploring all avenues of outside funding to be sure that we can get the most done at the lowest cost to local taxpayers.

On the topic of Strategic Planning the County has begun the process of prioritization. We need to continue to push to make sure that programs and direction is given to address the areas identified.
