I am running because I believe in the power of local government to solve real problems when we set aside partisanship and focus on our neighbors. Living in the Town of Campbell, we have a deep sense of community, but we also face unique challenges that require a strong, collaborative relationship with the County. I am drawn to this role now because we are at a crossroads regarding our environment and our infrastructure. I want to bring a spirit of pragmatism to the board—listening first, finding common ground, and working toward sensible solutions that protect our way of life on the Island and county-wide for the next generation.
For the Town of Campbell, I would advocate for enhanced environmental monitoring and technical assistance resources. Given our ongoing concerns with groundwater and PFAS, the County should serve as a robust partner in providing clear data, health resources, and advocacy to state and federal agencies. Additionally, I would like to see increased investment in our roads, such as the County Highway B project that was delayed. I would also like to see trail connectivity to provide non-motorists more than one route on and off the Island. Helping Campbell residents connect safely and easily to the broader county infrastructure—whether for work or recreation—boosts our local economy and maintains the small-town feel we love while embracing the benefits of being part of a vibrant county.
Water Quality: This is not just a Campbell issue; it is a county-wide necessity. Protecting our marshes, rivers, and groundwater is fundamental to our health, our property values, and our tourism economy.

Housing Affordability: We are seeing a growing gap between wages and housing costs, which puts a strain on families and our workforce. In order to maintain our status as a thriving community, we need to ensure pathways to home ownership for young people and those who will live here throughout the 21st century.
On Water Quality: I will work to strengthen the County’s Land Conservation efforts and foster partnerships with the DNR and private stakeholders. I’ll advocate for "clean water" initiatives that provide practical grants for remediation and proactive protection of our aquifers, ensuring we use science-backed data to drive policy.

On Housing Affordability: I will support initiatives and public-private partnerships that incentivize creating options in housing. These options must fit the character of our neighborhoods and allow both working families and singles to realize the American dream. Homeownership encourages continued, sustained investment in our communities. This will allow the county to flourish as a place with a reasonable cost of living.
