I am running for office because I want to introduce a new perspective to my community. My goal is to increase places for our community to interact, and improve existing infrastructure. The city council is currently working on funding for pickle ball courts, revamping the River Walk Trail, and maintaining park structures. I am excited to continue these projects and introduce more.
Currently I do not have any experience for the position. This will be my first elected position, and I am determined to do my job as best of my ability. I plan to listen to and work with the members of my community.
New Infrastructure-I would like to work with the DPW and Park Board to find ways to continue developing the city such as developing bike paths, hiking paths, soccer nets, park upgrades, etc.

Rising Population-The city is currently developing lot of new living spaces, which is great to build community. However, a rising population can cause strain on public safety due to a strain on the Fire and Police departments. I would work with the Fire Dept. and Police Dept. to help lift the strain.
Local government can take the role of protecting local natural resources such as parks, rivers, and lakes, as well as the animals that live within them. Overall our natural land should be preserved for our community and future generations to enjoy.
Listening to our community. If our community has a concern of any issue I plan to be there listening. They deserve to be heard about any issue.
