The most important issue facing Blue Springs is managing growth without losing what makes our neighborhoods strong and safe. As our city continues to grow, I will focus on smart planning, responsible development, and infrastructure that protects property values , supports families , and ensures our community remains a place people are proud to call home.
I'm running because I care deeply about the future of Blue Springs and believe we need steady leadership, smart growth, and strongneighborhoods. I bring over 30 rears of private-sector experience involved with quality control at Ford Motor Company, a background in Environmental Science , service as former Chairman of the Blue Springs Planning Commission, and experience representing Jackson County in transportation matters. I understand infrastructure, accountability, and how local government decisions impact families.

Maintaining and improving our infrastructure, especially our streets, is the most important issue facing Blue Springs. Voters approved a 2024 bond, and we have a dedicated transportation sales tax, but funding must be managed responsibly and strategically. I support a strong pavement management plan that prioritizes repairs based on condition and long-term value. Clear communication with residents about timelines and progress is essential. As our city grows, we must ensure infrastructure, public safety, and services keep pace. My focus will be accountability, data-driven decisions, and protecting taxpayer investment.
I am running for City Council because I care deeply about the future of Blue Springs and want to help ensure it remains a strong, well-managed community as we grow. I have 25 years of experience in the construction industry, working my way from carpenter to superintendent, and now in quality assurance. My career has been built on leadership and accountability, building relationships, evaluating complex projects, and asking hard questions while delivering lasting value. I currently serve as Vice Chair of the Parks Commission, where I work with staff and residents on long-term planning. I will bring a practical, fact-based approach to decision-making, while listening to the community and focusing on responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources.
