The most important issue facing our community right now is managing growth in a way that protects what makes Platte City special. We’re seeing increased development pressure, traffic concerns, and infrastructure strain — and many residents feel like decisions are being made without enough transparency or long-term planning. I intend to address this by prioritizing smart, responsible growth: strengthening infrastructure before approving large projects, improving communication between city leadership and residents, and ensuring every major decision reflects the values of the people who actually live here. Growth isn’t the problem — unmanaged growth is. My focus will be on thoughtful planning, fiscal responsibility, and keeping our community’s character at the center of every decision.

I’m running because I care deeply about the future of our community. I was raised here, went to school here, and now I’m raising my own children here. As Platte City grows, we need leadership focused on transparency, responsible development, and long-term planning — not short-term decisions.

As a nurse, I’ve learned to stay calm under pressure, listen first, and make thoughtful, evidence-based decisions. I advocate for people and navigate complex systems every day. As a small business owner, I understand budgeting, regulations, and accountability. I’m not running for a title — I’m running to serve and help guide our city’s growth in a way that protects what makes it special.
