Fiscal Responsibility & Protecting What’s Already Working
Parkville is thriving - busy restaurants, popular Platte Landing Park, strong neighborhoods.
But City Hall is losing control of the basics.
The Highway 9 project started as a mostly grant-funded $8.3M safety fix. Now it’s nearly double that with a plan that does not address the stated goals and lacks public & business support. It also threatens years of downtown disruption: lost parking, blocked access, reduced customers, right when Main Street is finally succeeding.
Fiscal responsibility means protecting businesses, keeping taxes in check, fixing Ward 1 potholes & drainage before flashy projects, and preserving what’s great.
Protect what’s working. Spend smarter.
Cristina and I chose Parkville decades ago to raise our three kids. We love our riverfront, parks, thriving downtown restaurants, and tight-knit community - that’s why we invested in downtown, and also why I'm running for Alderman.
Parkville is doing great, but I’m concerned the Highway 9 project scope creep is a symptom of greater problems.
As a Marine, healthcare technology leader, and local businessman, I bring discipline, accountability, and fiscal responsibility. I’ve never run for office before, I’m just a neighbor willing to leverage my experience, protect what’s working, and put Ward 1 families and businesses first.
