I am a lifelong Chicagoan and have spent the past 15 years living in and raising my family in the 4th District. Professionally, I am a co-founder and executive at a multi-state security services company, where I oversee compliance, workforce management, and daily operations. This role requires direct responsibility for budgeting, regulatory compliance, and operational performance.

I am also active in civic efforts focused on neighborhood stability, youth engagement, and small business support. I am seeking this office to strengthen transparency, accountability, and measurable performance in state government and ensure policy decisions reflect real-world impacts on working families.
1. Housing Affordability and Neighborhood Stability Expanding attainable housing supply, protecting longtime residents, and addressing rising property-tax pressures so families can remain in their communities.

2. Strong Public Schools and Workforce Pathways Improving literacy outcomes, expanding career and technical education, and aligning education with real employment opportunities so students are prepared for stable, good-paying jobs.

3. Transparent and Accountable Governance Strengthening transparency and performance standards so state programs deliver results and taxpayer dollars are used effectively.

These priorities are foundational to long-term community stability and economic security.
Illinois must maintain a disciplined and transparent budgeting process that prioritizes long-term fiscal stability. I support reducing structural liabilities, avoiding short-term fixes that create future strain, and strengthening oversight across state programs.

The state should invest in areas that generate lasting returns, including education, infrastructure, and workforce development, while improving efficiency where spending does not produce strong outcomes. Fiscal responsibility and strategic investment must work together to protect both taxpayers and essential services.
Illinois must modernize its infrastructure through disciplined, long-term planning. That includes upgrading aging roads and bridges, strengthening public transit reliability, and preparing systems for climate-related stress.

Environmental policy should be data-driven, economically responsible, and focused on resilience. Investments must protect public health while maintaining energy reliability and economic competitiveness. Infrastructure planning should be coordinated, transparent, and built to withstand future demands.
Public safety, criminal justice reform, and community support services must function as a coordinated system. Illinois should pursue policies that uphold fairness and due process while strengthening accountability and improving safety outcomes.

I support targeted investments in mental health services, violence prevention, and re-entry programs that reduce recidivism and strengthen community stability. Policy decisions should be guided by evidence and evaluated based on measurable results, with the goal of building safer communities and restoring trust in public institutions.
