1). Enhancing community engagement by fostering connections to strengthen our community and creating more opportunities for students. 2). Reinforcing safety and security; I have a proactive approach and always look to fortify and improve where we can. 3). I’ve been involved with our elementary school’s PTO for eight years and currently serve as president. I served on the diversity committee before being elected to my first term. As a board member, I have visited every quadrant of our district, served on the safety audit committee, earned over 40 credits for BOE training and am currently serving on the CSIP committee.

My top priorities are student readiness, strong staff support and transparent leadership. I will continue strengthening Fort Zumwalt’s STEAM and career pathways so students graduate prepared for college, trades or the workforce. Supporting and retaining quality educators and maintaining clear, fiscally responsible governance will keep our district strong and trusted.
I am a certified teacher with two master’s degrees in education, a Fort Zumwalt parent and current Board of Education president. My classroom training and graduate work provide an educator’s perspective, while my board service gives me experience in governance, curriculum and district operations. This allows me to understand both student needs and community expectations.
