My top three priorities are to continue to focus on student achievement and academic growth - especially in literacy, transparency and community engagement - and school safety, along with the well-being of students and staff.
My experience in education is purely voluntary. I will jump in whenever asked to help out. I am highly involved in the Sunrise PTO as the vice president and you will regularly find me at school working the book fair, handing out snacks or helping with projects that PTO is doing. As a board member, I think it is very important to show up for your district.
